The Glorious History of
X Index Companies:

X Index Companies (XIC) is one of the few ambitious businesses that started its journey in a tumultuous period after the liberation war of Bangladesh. In 1977, Arch. MD. Mazherul Quader, an aspiring and visionary entrepreneur started this esteemed company. Initially, it was a construction and consultancy firm that contributed to the architecture field in Bangladesh. Soon after its commencement, XIC successfully accomplished more than 400 projects worldwide.

The company had a new beginning in the early 2000s when Mahin Mazher took the onus of taking the company ahead. He initiated diversity in business and started investing in other sectors which led it to thrive in other sectors like holdings, agro, fisheries, poultry, hospitality & tourism, and energy. Tiles manufacturing concern X Ceramics was introduced in 2009 which is the most profitable business to date.

As a part of corporate social responsibility, XIC started the KK Foundation in 2017 which is helping the socially deprived class of our country.

To respond to the dynamics of the technology-driven era, XIC spread its investment to BlueBees. A technology-based group of startups comprising BlueBees AI, an eCommerce platform, a venture capital company, a Room booking platform, and a digital marketplace for garment businesses. BlueBees AI is responsible for handling the technical resources of X Index Companies.

XIC has been adjudged as one of the most prominent companies in Bangladesh. Most companies under the belt of XIC are ISO certified which indicates their business ethics and culture. As a recognition of its contribution to the socio-economic betterment of the country, it received a number of awards. In 2012, XIC got the Business Asia Award in the Best Ceramics Industry category.
