Bangladesh is swiftly progressing towards attaining middle-income status, positioning itself among the prosperous Asian nations. In this context, energy stands as a crucial factor in both the industrial economy and the everyday lives of the general population. Recognizing this significance, X Index Energy Ltd. (XIEL) is actively establishing three high fuel oil (HFO) power plants across various regions of Bangladesh. The power plants include:
i) Tangail Palli Power Generation Ltd. (TPPGL) - 22.00 MW ii) Kanchan Purbachal Power Generation Ltd. (KPPGL) - 55.00 MW iii) Bhairob Power Ltd. (BPL) - 54.5 MW
These initial endeavors are poised to serve as stepping stones for future growth. These power plants will proudly generate electricity, illuminating the lives of millions of people who rightfully deserve to be part of a prosperous and joyful Bangladesh in the years to come.
KPPGL
Kanchan Purbachal Power Generation Limited- a Sister concern of X Index Energy Limited. Is situated at Kanchan, Narayanganj. The plant operates with 55 MW HFO Fired Power Generating Facility. The plant is equipped with 3, 18V 48/60_TS MAN engines and opened commercially in 20th December 2021.
TPPGL
Tangail Palli Power Generation Limited-a Sister concern of X Index Energy Limited. Is situated at Gharinda Tangail. The plant operates with 22 MW HFO Fired Power Generating Facility. The plant is equipped with 4, B32:40V16AH, Rolls Royce Bergen engines and opened commercially in 20th December 2020.
BPL
Bhairob Power Limited-a Sister concern of X Index Energy Limited. Is situated at Bhairab, Kishoreganj. The plant operates with 54.5 MW HFO Fired Power Generating Facility. The plant is equipped with 3, 18V 48/60_TS MAN engines and opened commercially in 8th March 2021.
